We’ll be at Fluevog Shoes in both Calgary & Edmonton for a simultaneous celebration featuring shoes, sweets & solidarity for Two-Spirit, trans and gender diverse youth.
Our team will be on site talking about our programs and providing resources on supporting the trans youth in our lives; the amazing Fluevog staff will be there to assist you with all your shopping needs; and, we’ll have some sweet treats for anyone who stops by to join us.
Plus, 50% of all regular price merchandise sold while we’re on site goes directly to supporting our youth programming at Skipping Stone.

The lovely Mackenzie and Chrissy, both also parents themselves, will be there to help everyone feel welcome and included, and the conversations will all be open and organic based on the needs of the participants.

Music Program - Youth Guitar & String Ensemble
**This program is for youth between ages 14 and 20.
*If you are interested in trying out your first session, please email jacqs@skippingstone.ca before attending.
Students meet weekly to play songs that the group chooses. In addition to playing as a group, students can also improvise and play solos with the backing of the ensemble. There are also games, social time, snacks and more!
Having your own instrument and prior experience is encouraged, but not required. Support and instruments may be available-reach out to jacqs directly for info.

Music Program - Adult Band & Choir
**This program is for adults between ages 18 and over.

All instruments and voices welcome. Previous experience is encouraged for instrumentalists. No experience required for vocalists. We will meet weekly to play songs chosen by the band, hang out and build community as we play and jam together.
Several performance opportunities are available throughout the year (performing is always optional!)
