Echoes of Resistance. Echoes of Recognition. Echoes of Change.
Join the Day of Pink ECHO Tour as we mark 25 years since:
📚 Little Sisters Bookstore v. Canada
⚖️ The Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act
But this tour is not just about the past—it’s about the stories still echoing now. Stories that shape who we are and where we go next.
What to ExpectThe ECHO Tour is an evening of poetry, conversation, reflection, and truth-telling.
Our speakers will share stories from history and lived experience—stories that would have been censored 25 years ago, and in many places, still are.
This is not just a show. It’s a call to listen.

Wordfest X Pansy Club present: Literary Thirst Trap Tickets here: https://www.showpass.com/literary-thirst-trap/ On their own, Amber Dawn (Buzzkill Clamshell) and jaye simpson (a body more tolerable) are literary powerhouses with big personalities. Together, they're a force to be reckoned with: candid, explicit, and unapologetically queer. And when we heard they'd done a cross-continental tour together, @wordfest couldn't wait to get in on the fun. This show will feature readings from the dynamic duo, as well as their newest brainchild: Poetry Karaoke! Audience members will have the exclusive chance to flip through Amber Dawn and jaye's "playlist" of their favourite erotic and sensual poems-and perform them! We might steam up the windows of the Memorial Park Library Salon with this one, and you won't want to miss out on the action. Presented in partnership with Pansy Club YYC, this event will feature a pop-up of Pansy Club's @highqueerdness Lending Library and a custom mocktail bar Friday Oct 17th at 8pm At Memorial Park Library, in the Alexander Calhoun Salon on the main floor 1221 2nd St SW
