Join us on Thursday, Sept 18 at 3:00PM on The Old Y front porch (currently known as the CommunityWise Resource Centre) as we recreate the iconic "Leaping Lesbians" photo from 1985 (pictured in the 2nd slide). If you aren't familiar with what's happening with the building, please swipe through the slides or check out @theoldy.ca for more information! • We're coming together to celebrate queer joy, honor our history, and show that the wiw, sapphic, and queer community is vibrant, present, and committed to protecting spaces that matter to our community. We'd love to have you join us! The @theoldy.ca holds a very special place in our hearts, and was a huge inspiration behind starting @yycsapphics • @theoldy.ca was the first place where we genuinely experienced the power of connecting with community and finding your people. @yycoutlink programs (many of which are currently run out of the@theoldy.ca) gave us the confidence to engage in community, we attended our first @lavenderclubyyc event there, and it's been a safe hub for us to meet with other community members. The @theoldy.ca is a critical part of our community and is a huge part of our history - we really hope you'll join us in sending that message! , Thursday, September 18 ° @theoldy.ca, currently known as the CommunityWise Resource Centre (223 12 Ave SW) @ Meeting up for 3:00PM, photo will be taken around 3:15PM • Bring your beautiful selves, friends, family members, allies!
