What better way to end the summer than sharing an ultimate comfort food with good company and conversation? Lavender Teatime group will be hosting a drop-in event at Haultain Park to have some garlic bread together! We will provide the garlic bread, just bring yourselves! Gluten-free and dairy-free garlic bread will be available. You're welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks as well. Sunday, September 21, 2:00 - 4:00 PM Haultain Park, 225 13 Ave SW Free event (no registration required) We recommend that folks bring anything you need to be outside. We also recommend bringing a blanket or chair to sit on if you don't want to sit directly on the grass. There are tables and benches as well. Lavender Teatime is a community group for those whose identities are informed and understood in relation to experiences of queer womanhood, including trans, non binary, and cis folks as they feel comfortable in this space. If you have any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms, we ask that you please do not attend.

New and experienced skaters welcome to come out to come skate with us. We will set up a table to meet and visit while taking a break from skating! If you have not already been to House of Skate please sign the Waiver and review the House of Skate Policies before attending the event to save yourself time at the entrance. However, please remember that these events are meant to be a safe space for the Queer community. Transphobia, homophobia, and discrimination of any kind are not welcome. Being a safe space also includes being respectful of photography. Before taking any pictures including people, please always ask for permission.
