Young Hearts is a group for trans women and trans feminine folks over 40.
It focuses on supporting the unique needs and perspectives of older trans feminine folks, and especially those transitioning later in life.

*NEW LOCATION* We are now meeting at The Rainbow Room (750 11 St SW), where Outlink's new home is located! When you arrive, dial the intercom code at the door to be let in (this will be provided later). Take the elevator to the 4th floor. Turn right when you come out of the elevator. The Board Room is on the left hand side. Please follow the signs to the room! We'll let folks in until 7:00, so please arrive before then! _______________________________ Between Men is a social-support peer group for queer men, including cis men, trans men, transmasculine people, and anyone under the masculine identity umbrella who is gay, bi, pan, toric, queer, questioning, or are otherwise attracted to guys. Between Men is a safe, inclusive space where we can talk openly and honestly about our lived experiences and share our stories to feel heard, respected, loved, and supported. Please note that this meeting is moderated by Outlink staff/volunteers who reserve the right to remove anyone from the group who is in violation of our Safer Space Ground Rules. If you'd like to take any pictures of the room or the group, please ask facilitators and participants first. ****** Getting There: Paid and free street parking is available in the area. The nearest LRT Stations are Downtown-West Kerby (blue line) and 8th Street (red line). Nearby bus routes include the #65 and #66. Other buses are nearby in the area as well. Building Accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the main door. Please be aware that there is a lip at the bottom of the ramp, so it’s not quite flush with the ground. There is an elevator in the building. Washrooms in The Rainbow Room are all-gender and wheelchair-accessible. Public health and the safety of our communities is very important to us! The following safety practices are put in place for our in-person programming: Wearing a mask is always welcome and encouraged. If you have any cold, flu, measles, or Covid symptoms (ex. fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, rash, etc), we ask that you please do not attend. The room can fit about 12 people comfortably. Public Health Safety Precautions: Public health and the safety of our communities is very important to us! The following safety practices are put in place for our in-person programming: Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged. If you have any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms (ex. fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose), we ask that you please do not attend. The maximum room capacity is 20 people. The room can fit about 12 people comfortably.
Together, we can work towards better understanding ourselves and how our intersectionality impacts us, including our sexual orientations, sexualities, gender identities, and gender expressions. By realizing our individual strengths, we can overcome and liberate ourselves from negative belief systems that keep us from living authentically.
Between Men also offers opportunities to socialize, meet new people, make good connections, and have fun amongst supportive and safe company.
This meetup is intended as a space for peer support, casual socialization, and connection. This is not a structured therapy group, business networking event, or dating space.
