Flowing Hearts is for all 16 and over within the non-binary or genderqueer umbrella. As well as all those looking to affirm, to explore, or are questioning a non-binary gender identity.
Flowing Hearts explores topics such as body image, stereotypes, sexuality, and self-pride. It is about helping us understand who we are, how we want to grow, and how we can live authentically.
This event will be held in the room near the entrance of the building. Look for the Skipping Stone sign!

Creative Art-based Therapy for Trans Youth (CATTY) is a program for trans and gender diverse youth 13-17 which provides the opportunity to explore and growth as individuals as well as build values skillsets to navigate the world around us through the format of creative exploration & expression.
In this 8 week program lead by mental health professional with shared lived experience, we will use a variety of artistic mediums to explore various themes in mental health, identity, belonging and community. Participants will have the opportunity to create something each week, reflect on their creations, share their creations with each other, and reflect on the process and the meaning of each other’s creations.
This program is aligned with gender affirming, creative arts-based, and mindfulness based models, and focuses on personal expression, artistic exploration, and meaning making.

Queer Classroom creates space for youth across Alberta to come together and build community through this 6 week program (one meeting per week) offered several times throughout the year.
Each cycle of the program creates opportunities for growth around self-expression & interpersonal relationship skills through a fun-first lens. Activities might include arts-based projects, community-building games, guest speakers and more, and are centered around a different theme each cycle.
