Slow Stitching Your One Word Reminder for 2026 - Sew Proud

01/25/2026, 11:30 AM

Location: My Sewing Room, 8228 Macleod Trl SE Unit 148, Calgary, AB T2H 2B8, Canada

We’ll guide you through:
– gentle reflection exercises to help identify your unmet need
– basic embroidery techniques
– fabric layering and composition
– sashiko-inspired slow stitching

No sewing or embroidery experience is required.

This is not about productivity, perfection, or making something “useful.”
It’s about staying with yourself long enough to hear what matters, and giving that truth a physical form you can return to in 2026.

You’ll leave with:
– a finished textile art piece
– practical embroidery skills
– and a word that helps you notice where you tend to self-abandon, so you can choose differently next time
