Due to unforeseen circumstances, Calgary Queer Arts has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 REMIX Youth Program. We know this may be disappointing to those who were looking forward to participating, and we sincerely appreciate the interest and support we've received. Anyone who has registered will be contacted directly with more information. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Calgary Queer Arts.
Location: The Calgary Rainbow Room, 750 11 St SW Ste 210, Calgary, AB T2P 3N7, Canada
Dates:
You will not finish a garment during this series
You will leave with the foundational tools to alter clothing and patterns independently
You will gain clarity, confidence, and language around fit
You will learn a repeatable process you can return to again and again
This is about skill-building, not speed.
Standard sizing assumes a default body.
This series starts from the reality that bodies are varied, changing, and deeply personal.
Here, fit is not about fixing yourself.
It is about learning how to make clothing work for you.

Please note that The Sentry Box is made up of two separate business entities. To access the building, please enter through the west entrance into the Sentry Box, not The Sentry Box Cards. We’ll be on the upper mezzanine or back room depending on availability. Signs will be placed on the tables to help folks find us!
Please also be aware that the upstairs portion of this event is not wheelchair accessible due to the approximately 9 stairs into the building. But we usually have a table setup in the downstairs section for folks who struggle with stairs! Please feel free to send us an email at hello@queercalgary.ngo to let us know in advance.
And as always, before taking pictures please always ask for permission.
