Prime Timers Calgary (PTC) was re-established in September 2003 to provide opportunities to interact socially with other mature gay and bisexual men. Our goal is to foster positive interaction for our members by facilitating social, recreational and educational activities.

Looking for a relaxed, supportive space to connect with community? Join Queer Calgary for Queer Community Care Coffee, a monthly gathering in partnership with Sip and Psych, our counselling partner.
This is a space to meet, chat, and build connections over coffee—whether you want to share experiences, seek advice, or simply enjoy good company.
Please note: Rising Tides officially opens at 11:30 AM, but they have graciously donated their space to Queer Calgary 30 minutes earlier. If Google says "closed," don’t worry—we’re still meeting inside!
Come as you are, grab a coffee, and start your month with community care. We can’t wait to see you there!
However, please remember that these events are meant to be a safe space for the Queer community. Transphobia, homophobia, and discrimination of any kind are not welcome. Being a safe space also includes being respectful of photography. Before taking any pictures including people, please always ask for permission.

Can someone who has hurt others, even repeatedly, actually change? What can someone do if they’ve been called problematic, but aren’t totally sure why? Or, after losing friends, jobs, and networks, how does a person move forward if they want to become someone who won’t cause that type of harm again?
This workshop aims to share skills, experiences, and frameworks to balance compassion and accountability, foster transformation, and genuinely interrupt cycles of violence.
