About Camp fYrefly

For over a decade, the Centre for Sexuality has been proud to host Camp fYrefly Southern Alberta, a camp for 2SLGBTQ+ youth at Camp Chief Hector in Kananaskis. It is five days of growth, fun, connection and community that campers and volunteers alike describe as life changing.

Pride Brunch is our biggest annual fundraiser for Camp. With your help, we can ensure that no youth who applies to Camp is turned away due to financial need.

Looking for a relaxed, supportive space to connect with community? Join Queer Calgary for Queer Community Care Coffee, a monthly gathering in partnership with Sip and Psych, our counselling partner.

This is a space to meet, chat, and build connections over coffee—whether you want to share experiences, seek advice, or simply enjoy good company.

Please note: We are in a new location this month! We will be meeting at Congress Coffee - 215 36 Ave NE #1A, Calgary, AB T2E 2L4. If you will struggle to find your way to this new location, feel free to email us at hello@queercalgary.ngo for assistance with transportation.

Come as you are, grab a coffee, and start your month with community care. We can’t wait to see you there!

Alongside our incredible list of vendors, we will also be hosting an Indigenous Arts Showcase! Watch as our artists show off their incredible talent.

🍸 ITINERARY
Happy Hour (5–7 PM): $5 beers, $6 wine, $10 select cocktails, and $4 off appetizers.
Doors open at 7 PM for ticket holders (unless you’ve booked an earlier dinner reso).
Show starts promptly at 8 PM.

➡️ Seating is held only until 8:15 PM. Guests arriving after this time may not be guaranteed seating. If you’re running late, please give us a quick call to let us know. Otherwise, unclaimed seats will be released to walk-in guests after 8:15PM.
