Creative Art-based Therapy for Trans Youth (CATTY) is a program for trans and gender diverse youth 13-17 which provides the opportunity to explore and growth as individuals as well as build values skillsets to navigate the world around us through the format of creative exploration & expression.
In this 8 week program lead by mental health professional with shared lived experience, we will use a variety of artistic mediums to explore various themes in mental health, identity, belonging and community. Participants will have the opportunity to create something each week, reflect on their creations, share their creations with each other, and reflect on the process and the meaning of each other’s creations.
This program is aligned with gender affirming, creative arts-based, and mindfulness based models, and focuses on personal expression, artistic exploration, and meaning making.

Please note that online meetings are now held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Join us for friendly conversation in a safe, supportive and welcoming online environment. This is a chance for older members of our community to support each other and meet new people. Open to older adults 50+ who identify as an 2SLGBTQ+ community member or ally. This is a free drop-in event.
Please note that this meeting is moderated by Outlink staff and volunteers who reserve the right to remove anyone from the group who is in violation of our Safer Space Ground Rules.
This meetup is intended as a space for peer support and casual connection. This is not a structured therapy group nor is it a dating space. If you are looking for further support, Outlink staff are available to meet with you one-on-one or in small groups by phone, text based messaging, or video call upon request. They can also help connect you to other counselling services.
